A real winner for the North Fylde Group dinner

Numerous members were delighted to infiltrate the ‘North Fylde Group Dinner’ at Thornton Cleveleys Masonic Hall on 17th March 2022.

The Fylde Coast has always been blessed to have several well run Groups and Masonic Centres within a very short radius of each other. John Lee, David Thomas, Ryan Modlin and Geoff Diggles were all proud and privileged to support Lodge secretary Tony Farrar in his role as Vice Chairman of the North Fylde Group of Lodges and Chapters.

A very interesting question and answer session unfolded within the temple. The ‘Provincial Team’ duly responded to matters including membership and the transparency of disabled access within all Masonic buildings across West Lancashire.

An excellent meal was then enjoyed by all present under the watchful eyes of David Thomas and Ryan Modlin who conducted the occasion with an abundance of dignity and decorum in their roles as Deputy Directors of Ceremonies.

The eager crowd were afterwards pleased to listen and support Martin Clements who delivered his toast to Phil Gunning with humour and panache.

The evening was soon brought to a successful conclusion by Chairman John Cross, who as always, provided an honest, passionate and purposeful précis of all things masonry.

It goes without saying that the Lodge were thrilled to support Tony Farrar at such a successful event for him whilst also having two acting officers from within the Lodge looking after the mechanics of the night.
